Comedy Award - REV

Thanks Be for repeats of REV on TV - a gentle, yet not twee, comedy about an inner city Vicar, highlighting much about what is good and difficult translating biblical wisdom to 'Modern Britain'.

Move over Stephen Hawking, you're not helping anyone with your Space Theories..apart from the atheists, and I doubt they would accept help anyway.
Yellowhammer is feeling for Rev, as frankly EVERYONE finds modern Britain difficult, but for people trying to help us retain some dignity below the Babelic* towers,  it must be a nightmare.
*made up word
The writing by Tom Hollander and co has depth and perception of the human condition, without too much cynicism,  and the surrounding parishoners are hilarious, especially Colin the wastrel.

I cant speak for Jesus but I reckon he would prefer this show to the Vicar of Dibley.  (assuming he has time, and exists..)

Newly Buddhist Colin refuses to play on Adam's team in an interfaith football tournament:

I thought this clip was very sweet.
